Description	:	Isaac Almond Sufficool died at St. Joseph hospital in Omaha May 9, 1896, at the age of 20 years. Al, as he was called was an unusually strong, bright and active boy until taken sick with typhoid pneumonia which developed into an abscess on the right lung. He suffered untold agonies for some time and was then taken to the hospital where all his ribs on the right side but one were taken out. This was too much for his weakened condition. Al, as he was called was an unusually strong, bright and active boy until taken sick with typhoid pneumonia which developed into an abscess on the right lung. He suffered untold agonies for some time and was then taken to the hospital where all his ribs on the right side but one were taken out. This was too much for his weakened condition. He was conscious of the approach of death and during the night wrote a very pathetic and touching letter to his absent friends. The following is a copy of his letter: “Today I will die. Have spent a joyful night all night dying. Do not shed a tear for I am ready. It is God’s will for he says death is the beginning of life. Dear ma and pa be faithful. Keep family prayers it will influence Maud and Effie. Don’t cry, I will meet you again in heaven. Good Bye now. Once more do not cry. God knows best. Count it all joy Forgive pa and ma if I have wronged you. Tell dear Myra to be faithful.” The letter was written by the boy with his left hand and lying on his back in the hospital among strangers to his loved ones at home. How this should cheer and encourage the hearts of each of his family and all of God’s children to trust in that God who has promised to be our guide even until death. His parents reside near Creighton NE, where the remains were taken for burial. The corpse arrived at Winnetoon, Monday evening. Funeral services were held at Bazile Mills, Tuesday at ten o'clock.
