Description	:	Apopletic Stroke Fatal Sunday To Newton Sager, 53 Newton Sager, 53 year old Creighton resident, who moved here from Fremont in 1921, passed away at his home Sunday morning at 12:30 o'clock. Death was due to an apopletic stroke suffered Dec. 26 with heart disease a contributory cause. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Methodist church, with the pastor, Rev. John B. Roe officiating. Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery. Issac Newton Sager was born August 13, 1886 at Lexington, Nebr., and passed away at his home in Creighton, Jan. 7, 1940, after an illness of twelve days. He was 53 years, 4 months and 26 days old. Newt, as he was commonly known was the eldest son of Henry and Elizabeth Sager. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and two brothers. On May 15, 1907 he was united in marriage to Allie Victoria Norton at Fremont, Nebr. To this union six children were born, five daughters and one son, all of whom with his wife are left to mourn the loss of a devoted and loving husband and father. The first 15 years of his married life was spent in farming near Fremont. In the year 1921 he moved to Creighton and was engaged in construction work until the time of his death. He will be greatly missed by a host of friends and relatives. He is survived by his wife and six children; Mrs. Irene Barton, Mrs. Letha Squire, Mrs. Helen Wingert, Jack and Alice Sager, all of Creighton; also three brothers, William of Oakland, Neb.; Thomas of Denver, Colo.; Pearl of Omaha; and six grandchildren.
