Description	:	Iva Nave, age 94, formerly of the Siam community, Elizabethton, died Saturday, February 2, 2008 in Hermitage Health Center following an extended illness. She was a Carter County native born to the late Dayton and Sarah Carrier Sheffield. Mrs. Nave was a member of East Fairview Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Nave was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Sycamore Chapter No. 163 for fifty years. She was a Carter County native born to the late Dayton and Sarah Carrier Sheffield. Mrs. Nave was a member of East Fairview Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Nave was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Sycamore Chapter No. 163 for fifty years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nave was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Nave and four brothers. Survivors include one daughter: Norma Baumgardner, one son and daughter-in-law: Charles and Nelda Nave, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Eola Nave. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service for Mrs. Nave will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, February 4 in the Tetrick Funeral Home Chapel of Peace. The graveside service and interment will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 5 in Happy Valley Memorial Park.
