Description	:	Hemingway, Feb 11 [1920] - Miss Iva Eaddy, daughter of Mr and Mrs G B Eaddy of this place, died of influenza at Ridge Spring yesterday morning. Miss Eaddy developed influenza while teaching at Ridge Srping about ten days ago; later pneumonia set in. Miss Eaddy was a young woman of sterling type, and was beloved by all who knew her, being possessed of pleasing personality, and conducting her life only upon the highest of ideals, she easily won the admiration and esteem of the people, not only of her home community, but in others where she has labored. Consequently, a... Read More	Hemingway, Feb 11 [1920] - Miss Iva Eaddy, daughter of Mr and Mrs G B Eaddy of this place, died of influenza at Ridge Spring yesterday morning. Miss Eaddy developed influenza while teaching at Ridge Srping about ten days ago; later pneumonia set in. Miss Eaddy was a young woman of sterling type, and was beloved by all who knew her, being possessed of pleasing personality, and conducting her life only upon the highest of ideals, she easily won the admiration and esteem of the people, not only of her home community, but in others where she has labored. Consequently, a pall of sorrow rests over this ad other sections as a result of learning of her untimely and sad death. Miss Eaddy was graduated at Winthrop college a few years ago. While at college, she ranked well with her studies and class. Since graduation she taught school here and at Ridge Spring. During this time she proved herself to be not only an efficient teacher, but a potent factor in the upbuilding of the community in which she worked. The interment took place at Old Johnsonville cemetery this afternoon at 4 o'clock; the funeral services being held in the Methodist church here where she was a member.
