He was born Feb. 8, 1928, at rural Bonaparte, the son of Guy and Bertha Lowery Story. On Aug. 14, 1954, at Fort Madison, he married Darlene Roland. Survivors include his wife, two sons, two daughters, nine grandchildren, one sister, and several nieces and nephews.
