Description	:	Jack was born the eldest child of Belva and Marie (Mauer) Thomas. He married Beverly Burmood on May 24, 1953 in Shelton, NE. To this union was born Kathy Jean and Robert Dean. Jack graduated from Gibbon High School in 1948. He served 4 years in the US Navy during the Korean War. He had farmed most of his adult life. He drowned in a sandpit near Shelton, NE.
