Jack served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1968. On April 28, 1978, he was united in marriage to MaryAnne Schaefer at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, Seward, NE. Jack retired from Rolfsmeier Motors as sales manager. Jack was a member of the Beaver Crossing American Legion Post #178 and Seward VFW Post #4755. Jack was an avid Husker Fan.
