Jack was born November 22, 1954 in Yankton, South Dakota to Jack W. and Chrystal (Anderson) O'Malley. Jack attended Beadle Elementary School, Yankton Middle School and graduated from Yankton High School in 1973. He then worked for O'Malley's Bar and Happy Jack's Restaurant. Jack married Pam Sparby and raised three boys: Jack, Patrick and Ryan. Later, he had his only daughter, Shanna, with his second wife, Della. In 2003, he began his nine year battle with cancer. Jack always loved spending time with his family, playing cards, shooting pool, cooking and grilling out. He cherished his Cadillac and enjoyed going on long drives and always kept it nice and clean. By far, the most important part of his life was his family. Jack is survived by four children: Jack (Brandi) O'Malley of Omaha, NE, Patrick O'Malley and fiancé, Meredith Avery of Omaha, Ryan O'Malley of Omaha and Shanna O'Malley and fiancé, Brandon Leslie of Yankton; two grandchildren: Jack K. and Connor O'Malley of Omaha; sister, Robyn (Steve) Stucky of Yankton; brother, Tim O'Malley of Yankton; favorite niece, Sarah (Chad) Dimmick of Yankton; nephew, Chris Stucky of Yankton; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
