Description	:	First born son of Joseph Beedle and Mary Meek Beedle in PA. He was married more than once. When he married Sarah Shippy in Warren Co., Indiana on Aug 11, 1832, he already had a daughter name Arbella from a previous marriage. He had a will that was proved in April 1862, so it is assumed he died earlier that year. He was wealthy, having lots of land that he left to his wife, Sarah and his daughter, Arbella, and he had $6000.00, which was a fortune in 1862. He had a will that was proved in April 1862, so it is assumed he died earlier that year. I don't see that he mentions any of his other children in the will, which is curious, with him having so much wealth. In his will, he states that he is in the township of Pleasant, Monroe Co., Iowa. I'm putting him in this cemetery because I believe the other Beedle here may be his son, and it is an old cemetery. He says he's 80 when he writes his will, therefore I'm saying he was born in 1782. He enlisted in the War of 1812 May 5, 1812 and his military service location was Ohio. He died Jan 10, 1862, and per her pension record, his wife died in 1889. I know that besides Arbella, he had a son, Simeon born in 1836, because he is listed on Simeon's marriage license when Simeon married Sarah (Shan) Bowers in Mahaska, Iowa, Jan 22, 1896. Simeon was 60, Elizabeth was 66.
