Description	:	Jacob was born at Friedenthal, Crimea to Martin and Philippina (Theilaker) Bohrer. He was confirmed in 1855 at Zurichtal. He married Christina Sailer December 12, 1861. Jacob & Christina, Johannes, Joseph, Susanna, and Friedrich and his family arrived in New York December 6, 1886 on the SS Fulda. Also on their ship were the Christian Zeiszler family, Fred Schell family (his wife was a Sailer) and Karl Friedrich Reiner family. The Bohrers lived at Freeman, SD awhile before coming to North Dakota in 1887. They farmed until 1904, then moved into Mannhaven. He died...
