Often we think our ancestors moved all over the place but actually, more often than not, many lived in the same house forever but the town boundaries kept changing in which town they lived. His wife, Eunice, died on Jan 14, 1815 in South Hampton, NH. After his wife's death Jacob lived in Warner, NH in son Enos's house in 1820. Sons Enos and Jacob II both lived in Warner. A death certificate for Jacob can't be found but his death was listed in the U.S. Newspaper Extractions in the Columbian Centinel (Massachusetts newspaper) that Jacob, formerly of South Hampton, died in Warner, NH age 82. The publication was on Mar 12, 1825. Depending on how often the paper was published he could have died the week before or 2-3 days before the publication. Age: 82yrs
