Description	:	*Jacob Edmund McBride* 63, died very suddenly at his home a short distance from Shipley Thursday morning about 10 a.m. *Mr. McBride* had been apparently in his usual health and was about the barn doing some work, when one of the boys entered the barn and saw him lying on the floor. Read More	*Jacob Edmund McBride* 63, died very suddenly at his home a short distance from Shipley Thursday morning about 10 a.m. *Mr. McBride* had been apparently in his usual health and was about the barn doing some work, when one of the boys entered the barn and saw him lying on the floor. Hastening to him and expecting to find him probably in a faint from some cause, he found that life had flown and although the body was still warm the heart had ceased to beat. It was the son Leslie, who lives on a farm nearby, who had called for the father to accompany him to a sale, who found the body. A physcian was hastilly summoned but an examination showed that he had been dead for some little time. Heart strong and very healthy. The announcement of his death was a severe shock to the family and friends. The funeral will be held on Sunday. There will be a short service at the home at 11 a.m., after which the body will be taken to Zearing where services will be held about 2 p.m. after which interment will be in the Zearing Cemetery. Eleven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. McBride . Two of them, a daughter Pearl & son Orrin died while young and their bodies were interred in the cemetery at Zearing. He leaves his wife, 5 sons, 4 daughters, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. The children living are Ray & Glen of near Zearing, Mrs. Lucy Irvine of Delevan, MN, Harold of near Shipley, Leslie of south of Nevada, Mrs. Lola Johnston of near Zearing, Russell, Velma & Avalee all at home. The brothers are William McBride of Coldwater, MI and Arthur McBride of Nevada, while the sisters are Mrs Luella Stephenson of Mason City, Mary Ann McBride of Nevada, Mrs. Laura Talbott of Nevada and Mrs. Cora Farren of Colo. One sister Viola McBride had passed away as an infant. *Mr. McBride* was a man of exceptionally fine character, a devoted husband and father and a splendid neighbor & friend. His very sudden passing is a severe shock to his wide circle of neighbors and friends, as well as the members of the family, who will be extended the profound symphany to all.
