| Description | : | Jacob was the oldest son of Joseph Brumback (1810-18740 and Christina (Huffman) Brumback (1816-1912). His full name was Jacob Henry Francis Brumback. He enlisted in the CSA in 1862 at Winchester VA along with his brother, Joseph B. Brumback. He served with the 12th VA Calvalry, Co. C as a private, and was paroled at Winchester in May 1865. Jacob was married three times and widowed twice. He married Amanda Jane Copp (1849-1878) on January 2, 1873.
