Description	:	Cousin Jacob was the son of George W. Fluke and Elizbeth Ann Shoemaker Fluke. When Jacob was 21 years old, he and his brother travelled to Washington State by covered wagon and "homesteaded" on a quarter section of land. Then Jacob later travelled to Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, and back to Pennsylvania. He later married Minnie Florence Harclerode. They had the following child: Franklin Faye Fluke (he went by "Faye Fluke".) Jacob and his family were from Bedford County, Pa. Jacob was a teacher and farmer in Pa. Jacob and his son, Faye ran "Fluke's Tire Shop" on Xenia Avenue in Yellow Springs. He remained active in the business until 1944. His health began to fail that year after an operation. Jacob died at his residence, 255 Xenia Avenue in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Jacob was a member of the Clifton Presbyterian Church in Clifton, Ohio.
