Description	:	Mr. Jacob Cleveringa passed away early Sunday morning at the age of 70 years, 2 months, and 14 days. Mr. Cleveringa was born in the Netherlands and came to America at the age of 5 years. In 1910 on December 22 he was united in marriage to Wilhelmina Duistermars and to this union five children were born. Margaret, Mrs. Evert Horstman, of Sioux Center; Clarence of Orange City, Roevina, Mrs. Dick Van Klompenburg of Alton; Tony of Orange City and Alice, Mrs. Abe J. Van Roekel of Boyden. Margaret, Mrs. Evert Horstman, of Sioux Center; Clarence of Orange City, Roevina, Mrs. Dick Van Klompenburg of Alton; Tony of Orange City and Alice, Mrs. Abe J. Van Roekel of Boyden. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and one brother Lou Cleveringa of Orange City and two sisters, Gertrude, Mrs. Henry Duistermars of Orange City and Rachel, Mrs. Arend Wassink of Saranac, Mich. One brother and four sisters preceded him in death. Mr. Cleveringa had farmed all his life near Sioux Center until 11 years ago when he came to town to retire. Funeral services were held Wednesday April 29 at 1:00 at the home and 1:30 at the First Christian Reformed church with Rev. B.J. Haan officiating. Burial was in the Sioux Center Community cemetery under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home. The Pall berarers were Arend Schouten, Paul Veencamp, Ray Hogan, Dan Voorderman, Wm. B.
