Description	:	Jacquelene Mullis, aged 6, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Onus Mullis, died at the home of her parents Wednesday, June 16th, at 12:30, after an illness of several months. She was a bright and prominent child and bore her suffering with patience. Surviving are her parents and one brother, Junior, and one sister, Joann, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Snipes and Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Mullis, and a host of aunts and uncles. Funeral services were held at the home Thursday morning at 11 o'clock, conducted by Elder C. M. Mills of Charlotte and assisted by Elder T. L.... They were Bascom Snipes, Edd Snipes, Vann Snipes, and Frontis Mullis. The people of the community sent their greatest sympathy to the parents of the child.
