Description	:	Jacqueline "Jackie" A. Nordstrom, 82, passed away May 19, 2008 at her home in Arlington, WA. She was born to A.L. and Lauretta Reece January 18, 1926 in Darrington, WA. Jackie attended school in Darrington and married Ted Nordstrom. She was known to be a happy homemaker who liked having a crowd in her home for a meal. Nordstrom, 82, passed away May 19, 2008 at her home in Arlington, WA. She was born to A.L. and Lauretta Reece January 18, 1926 in Darrington, WA. Jackie attended school in Darrington and married Ted Nordstrom. She was known to be a happy homemaker who liked having a crowd in her home for a meal. No one was a stranger to her and she loved children. Jackie enjoyed sewing, canning, gardening, mushroom picking and clam digging. Having the gang over for fried oysters and clam patties with an apple pie dessert was her delight. She was a real caregiver who never complained as she served others. Her motto was "Anything worth doing is worth doing well!" Jackie's greatest joy was her family. Preceding her in death were her brothers, Monte Reece and Clayton Reece. Jackie is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Ted Nordstrom, of Arlington; children, Ted D. (Vikki) Nordstrom, of New Orleans, LA, and Penney (Tim) Alskog, of Arlington; siblings, Joan Jones, of Darrington, Artis Petrich, of Ellensburg, WA, Teresa Howard, of Darrington, Alden (Trish) Reece, of Packwood, WA, and Anthony (Sue) Reece, of Darrington; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Darrington Cemetery, 1324 SR 530 NE, Darrington, WA. Special thanks to a wonderful caregiver, Nina Halk, as well as the Providence Hospice support team. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Providence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County.
