Description	:	Jacqueline “Jackie” Vanhove, age 84, of Madison, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Madison Regional Health System. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:30 PM on Wednesday, March 28th at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Father DeWayne Kayser as the Celebrant. Visitation will be 5-7 PM on Tuesday at St. Thomas Church with a prayer service at 6 PM and a Rosary to follow. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Jacqueline Joan Ellis was born March 31, 1933 to Jack & Clara (Mathison) Ellis. She grew up in Madison and went on to graduate in 1951 from Madison High School. She married George Vanhove in Madison on November 22, 1952. They moved to a farm near Ramona where they lived and farmed for 50 years. For many years, Jackie was a 4-H leader, member of St. William’s Altar Society, member of Town & Country Extension Club, served on the extension board and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. In 2003, they moved into Madison, and became members of St. Thomas Church. Jackie was active in the quilting group for several years and a past member of the Madison Garden Club. In her spare time, she loved to play Mahjong. Jackie is survived by two sons, Craig (Kathy) of Madison and Gary (Cindy) of Albert Lea, MN; three daughters, Monica (Floyd) Demaray of Ramona, SD, Melissa (Shaun) Riedesel of Rapid City and Elizabeth (Rich) Avery of Madison; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren along with several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Imogene Ellis of Lake Madison and Judy Ellis of Santa Rosa, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George (2003); four sisters, Betty Lockhart, Erla Lamp, Geraldine Hagen, an infant sister and two brothers, Donnie & Bob. - Weiland Funeral Chapel
