His brother, Charles E. Hite, died at Estherville early last week. James Albert Hite was born March 5, 1875 [1874], on a farm two miles southwest of Gilman in Jasper county. He was united in marriage with Miss Kate Ingraham May 12, 1898. The wife and five children survive, as do also Mrs. Rebecca Hite, the young man's mother, one sister, and two brothers also survive. The sister is Mrs. Ida Elliott, of Leanna, Kan., and the brothers Fred Hite, of Gilman, and Oscar Hite, of Wenatchee, Wash. The funeral was largely attended Sunday afternoon from the Congregational church, Rev. G.E. Chapman officiating. Mr. and Mrs. O.
