Pleasant. POTTER SERVICES. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Benton Street Pentecostal church for James A. Potter, 25, of 750 West Mechanic street. Sister Mabel Grimes and the Rev. L.A. Flactiff of that church will be in charge. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery. The casket will remain at the Johnson funeral chapel until noon Wednesday when it will be taken to the church. Potter, a veteran of World War II, is survived by his wife, Roberta; one daughter, Becky Evelyn at home; one son, Jimmie Jearl at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gabe Potter of Ottumwa; four sisters, Mrs. Christina Thomas, Mrs. Marilyn Robinson, Janice Potter and Muriel Potter, all of Ottumwa; five brothers, David, Richard, Charles and Ralph Potter, all of Ottumwa, and Pvt. Bernard Potter of Camp Chaffee, Ark.; and one half-sister, Mrs. Alvin Zuelke of East Pleasant Plain. One sister, Jo Ann, preceded him in death.
