Mr. Tedder had been in failing health for several years. Funeral services will be conducted at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church at 3:30 this afternoon by the Rev. Walter Jernigan, pastor of the church, assisted by the Rev. M.N. Michelle of the Salem Free Will Baptist Church. The burial will be in the Bethany cemetery. Mr. Tedder was born in Darlington County, the son of the late Leonard Tedder and Amanda Adams Tedder. He was a member of the Bethany Free Will Baptist Church. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ben Revell of Elim, Mrs. Hoyt Smith of Coward, Miss Winnie Tedder of Scranton; four sons, Wyle Tedder of Scranton, Jimmie Tedder, Morgan Tedder of Timmonsville, Fred Tedder of Miami, Fla; three sisters, Mrs. Lettie Caulder of Olanta. Mrs. Retha Revell of Mars Bluff, Mrs. Carrie Matthews of Effingham; thirty seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Active bearers will be Major Tedder, Charles Tedder, Marion Tedder, Oscar Tedder, Hames Tedder and Harold Tedder. Honorary escorts will be J.M. Ham, Walter Darell, Redden Coward, J.C.Elmore, Herbert Hicks, Clinton Kirby, J. Alex Hewitt, G.P. Welch, H.N. Collins, A.P. Hatchell, J.K. Brown and Ed McElveen. The granddaughters will have charge of the arrangement of the flowers. The body was taken from the Waters Funeral Home to the home of his daugther, Mrs. Ben Revell of Elim, to remain until the hour of the services.
