Description	:	OBIT: James A. Hicks, 93, lifetime Ellensburg resident, died Wednesday at Goldleaf Care Center. He was born in Ellensburg on August 21, 1897, one of seven children of Ben F. and Lucy Jane (Brockman) Hicks. He was a member of the 3M's of the Methodist Church and a lifetime member of Knights of Phythias. He was employed by the Soil Conservation Service as a heavy equipment operator. He and May I. He was a member of the 3M's of the Methodist Church and a lifetime member of Knights of Phythias. He was employed by the Soil Conservation Service as a heavy equipment operator. He and May I. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sons, Howard Hicks of Fall City, Ben Hicks of Renton, and Donald Hicks of Bellevue; one daughter, Lucille Sienia of Ellensburg; 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren, and two sisters, Georgia McGee and Frankie Caswell, both of Seattle. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday at Cotton-Steward-Williams Chapel. The Rev. Lowell Murphree will officiate and burial will follow at High Valley Cemetery. Viewing at Cotton-Steward-Williams Chapel until 4 p.m. today and following the service.
