Read More	Obituary: Cumberland Evening Times, February 28, 1920, Vol. LII, No. 51, Page 1 - "Dies Suddenly While Seated in Chair James Ash, Former Merchant of Flintstone, Succumbs to Attack of Heart" - James Ash, aged 71 years formerly a merchant at Flintstone, but for the past ten years a resident of this city, died suddenly this morning while sitting in a chair in the dining room of his home, 102 Greene Street. Mr. Ash had been complaining for several weeks but his apparent illness did not confine him to his bed for a day. He got up at his usual time this morning and after eating breakfast went into the dining room to read the paper. He had been there only a short time when his wife noticed his head had dropped to one side. She went to his side but go no answers to her questions. She raised his head to support it with her hands when she discovered that he was dead. Besides his wife, Mrs. Amanda Ash, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C. G. Dade, Washington, DC and Mrs. James H. Cunningham, Pinto, WVa and one son, Liston R. Ash of Frostburg. Funeral arrangements, which will be in charge John C. Wolford, will not be completed until the arrival of Mrs. Dade, from Washington.
