Mr. Clark, lovingly known as “Bo,” was a son of the late William Earl and Pauline Bobo Clark. Clark, age 86, husband of Deanie Parham Clark, of 107 Harris Street Union, passed away at 12:29 PM, Friday March 2, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. Mr. Clark, lovingly known as “Bo,” was a son of the late William Earl and Pauline Bobo Clark. He was a US Army veteran of WWII having served with the 68th Infantry Division Anti Tank Company in the 271st Infantry Regiment. Mr. Clark was also retired with the South Carolina Army National Guard, Headquarters 4th Battalion, 118th Infantry. He was an active member of the Union Church of God, and retired from Milliken after serving thirty-seven years. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter: Jamie Stepp and husband Joe of Union; one grandson: Coby Stepp and wife Michelle; a great-granddaughter, Amber Stepp of Chesnee, SC; one sister, Ruby Franklin of Toccoa, GA.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, March 5, 2012, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Thomas H. Brown. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 AM Monday in the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in James’ honor to the Union Church of God Family Life Center, 1113 Thompson Blvd., Union, SC 29379.
