Description	:	J. B. Kelly Died At His Home In Liberty, Nebr., March 6th. The remains of the late J. B. Kelly of Liberty, Nebr., were brought to Walnut on Monday morning, March 9th for burial in the family lot in the Walnut cemetery. Rev. James Wilkins, pastor of the local M. Kelly of Liberty, Nebr., were brought to Walnut on Monday morning, March 9th for burial in the family lot in the Walnut cemetery. Rev. James Wilkins, pastor of the local M. E. church, conducted the services at the grave. The deceased passed away at his late home in Liberty, Nebr., on Friday, March 6th at the age of 76 years, 7 months and 6 days. He is survived by his wife and one son, Belden Kelly of Liberty. One daughter Minnie and one son Ray, preceded their father in death and are buried here. The remains were accompanied by his son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Belden Kelly, and two sisters, Miss Amanda Kelly and Mrs. McGarney. Mr. Kelly was a former resident of Walnut and vicinity. He lived on a farm for a number of years and was later associated with H. P. Koll in the mercantile business in Walnut. He and his family moved from this city to Nebraska about twenty-one years ago. Mr. Kelly was a true Christian and a leader in all church affairs. The family have the sympathy of their many Walnut friends in their hour of bereavement. (Walnut Bureau, March 12, 1925)
