Citizen Dies at Age of 76. -------- James Barber, a respected citizen of Haynes township, died Thursday at 8 o'clock a.m. at his home, following an illness of ten days from paralysis. Mr. Barber was born in Canada on March 30, 1837. He was married in 1860 to Mary Ann Neil and thirty-three years ago they moved to the farm where he died and where they lived ever since first settling here. Citizen Dies at Age of 76. -------- James Barber, a respected citizen of Haynes township, died Thursday at 8 o'clock a.m. at his home, following an illness of ten days from paralysis. Mr. Barber was born in Canada on March 30, 1837. He was married in 1860 to Mary Ann Neil and thirty-three years ago they moved to the farm where he died and where they lived ever since first settling here. Seven children were born to them, six of whom and the widow survive. The children are Eustache, Nicholas, James, John, Mrs. John Nichol and Mrs. John Edgar. There are also five surviving sisters and three brothers, of whom two of the latter, David and Eustache, are residents of Alcona County. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. M.
