Description	:	James Fisher Funeral Held Saturday At Wessington Last rites for James B. Fisher, 64, were held Saturday afternoon at the Presbyterian Church in Wessington with Loftus H. Ward officiating Fisher died suddenly Wednesday morning at his home near Wessington. Burial was in the family plot in the Wessington cemetery. Pall bearers were J. M. Magness, Francis McGuire, Arvy Ravenscroft, Earl Galbraith, Lowell Prentice and bill Lichty. He was born near Sutherland, Iowa, in 1897 the soon of Ira and Ida Fisher. Burial was in the family plot in the Wessington cemetery. Pall bearers were J. M. Magness, Francis McGuire, Arvy Ravenscroft, Earl Galbraith, Lowell Prentice and bill Lichty. He was born near Sutherland, Iowa, in 1897 the soon of Ira and Ida Fisher. He came to South Dakota in 1900 with his parents and brothers and sisters and settled on a farm five miles west of Wessington. He had lived there ever since with his brother Alonzo on what is known as the Fisher ranch, considered one of the finest farm homes in Hand County. He married Mabel Fisher on Feb. 20, 1945. He is survived by his widow, one stepson, Donald Schlueter, Los Alamitos, Calif., two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Olson, Burdette and Mrs. Susie Butler, Huron, one brother, Alonzo, Wessington and several nieces and nephews. Attending the funeral from a distance were: Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schlueter, Mr. and Mrs. Darold Stiner and son, Assumption, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Edwards, Primghar, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Koster, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Schroeder and Mr. and Mrs. earl Purrington, Iroquois, Carl Bocke and Mrs. Charles Bocke, Clear Lake.
