Description	:	"James was a school teacher and was killed in the Civil War. I have a letter written to Grandpa David telling him that Magdalena had received word that her husband was so badly wounded that he couldn't possibly survive, and she should send someone to a hospital in Louisville, Kentucky to get his body. She was devastated by the news! Magdalena was married to her second husband, at some later time. It is said that he was very good to her and buried her where she wanted to be, next to her first husband and erected a fine tombstone...
