WOODBINE -- Funeral: services were held Thursday at the Presbyterian church for James Clausen, 43, who died very suddenly Sunday evening after a brief illness from a heart .attack. Burial was, in the the Woodbine cemetery. He was born in Pottawattamie county, April 8, 1898, and came to Woodbine with his parents at the age of 4 years and continued here with the exception of one year spent in Idaho. Dec. 21, 1921 he was married to Miss Violet Payne of Castana and they were the parents of three children, Betty, Eldon and Robert, all at home. Besides his widow and children he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Marie Clausen, a sister, Mrs. Carrie Driggs and a brother, Arthur, all of Woodbine and a brother, Fred, of Fresno, Calif. Mr. Clausen followed the plumbing business for 14 years, six of which were at the Muir hardware.
