Curry, Aged Eighty-six, and Mrs. Andrew Gouggel, Aged Eighty, Goes to their Final Home - Both are Buried Tuesday James W. Curry, probably the oldest man in Wabash county, died at his home at No. 45, north East street, Sunday evening at seven o'clock. His funeral occurs Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock. The services will be held at his late residence, Rev. G. ?. Van Arsdall officiating. #Burial in Falls cemetery. Mr. Curry was born in Johnstown, Pa., October 20, 1808. He came west in the year 1831, his father settling on a farm about eight miles west of where the city of Wabash is located. In the year 1835 he was married in the city of Logansport, and he and his wife continued to live here until both were called to rest. In the year 1860, Mr. Curry moved into the city and has lived here ever since. His daughter died last week and was buried Saturday. Mr. Curry was a consistent member of the Christian church, with which he united over thirty years ago. He was an honest, upright citizen and leaves many friends to mourn his demise. Five children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Curry, but one of whom, their son, John is now living. The deceased had been feeble for several years, but was able to be up and frequently came down town. About two weeks ago he was taken sick of inflammation of the bladder, and latter had a severe attack of the flux, which caused his death.
