Description	:	U.S. ARMY James E. "Jim" Robinette, 73, of South Sioux City died unexpectedly Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, at a Sioux City hospital. Memorial services will be 11 a.m Friday at First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City, with the Rev. Dale Jirousek officiating. Private graveside services will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. He graduated from South Sioux City High School. He had been a resident of South Sioux City for 60 years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954, during the Korean Conflict. He married Shirley Ernest on July 22, 1950, at First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City. He was employed with Metz Baking Co. from 1961 to 1986. He was a member of First Lutheran Church. He also was a Masonic member of Omadi Lodge 5 A.F. & A.M. of South Sioux City. He is survived by his wife Shirley; a son and his wife, Rick and Joan Robinette of South Sioux City; a daughter and her husband, Pamela and Russ McComsey of Lee's Summit, Mo.; and six grandchildren, Michael, Katie, Amy and Ashley Robinette and Casey and Zachary McComsey. He was preceded in death by his parents. Father: Robert H Robinette Mother: Julia Ball Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren. A memorial will be established in his name. Robinette, James E.
