Description	:	James was crippled and living with his sister, Mary Steganius, in Pennsylvania. The Daily Courier, Connellsville, Pennsylvania, Thursday, February 4, 1915: "James E. Moran, 54 years old, died this morning at the home of his nieces, the Misses Steganious at Sixth, Connellsville, following an illness of heart trouble. The body was shipped this morning by funeral director J. L. Stader to the home of a sister at Westernport, Md., from which place the funeral will take place. Mr. Moran had resided at Westernport for a number of years, but of late had made his home at the Steganious... The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, Friday, February 5, 1915: "The remains of Mr. James E. Moran, years ago a resident of this place, who died at Connellsville, Pa., were brought here for interment yesterday. The funeral will be held from St. Peter's Catholic church, Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock. The local nest of Owis have charge of the services." The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, Friday, February 12, 1915: "Elk Garden-James Moran died at Connellsville, Pa. February 4. 1915. He lived at Elk Garden many years and his health failing him he went to Connellsville. His age was 57 years. He owned the Moody building at Elk Garden and several dwellings at Blaine. He was a quiet man and much respected. Everybody had a good word for him We are sorry to hear of his death. His remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery at Westernport. He is survived by four brothers and two sisters. His brothers are Thomas Moran, of Van Lear, Ky., Terrance Moran, of Harvey, III., Edward Moran, of Philadelphia, Joseph Moran, of Bloomington, Md., and his two sisters are Mrs. James Deffinbaugh, of Thomas, W.Va. and Mrs. John Cowen, of Colorado."
