Born April 11, 1945, in Cumberland, he was a son of Lena B. Sebold of Deer Park and the late Earl Joseph Sebold. Mr. Sebold was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years, the last four of which were as postmaster of the Gormania, W.Va., Post Office. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of Oakland Lodge No. 192 AF&AM, Cumberland Consistory Scottish Rite, the Ali Ghan Shrine Temple, and was a member of the Ali Ghan Clown Unit. In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, Janet (White) Sebold; one son, Robert J. Sebold, Mountain Lake Park; and one granddaughter, Britani Paige Sebold. Friends may call at the Durst Funeral Home, Oakland. Services will be conducted at the funeral home onTuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Will Ghere officiating. Interment will be in Garrett County Memorial Gardens. Oakland Lodge No. 192 will conduct a Masonic memorial service at the funeral home on Monday at 7:30 p.m. The family suggests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Maryland LeukemiaSociety … Members of the Ali Ghan Clown Unit will serve as pallbearers.
