Description	:	James E. Bohac, 88, of Kimball, died in Scottsbluff on Monday, October 8, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Kimball with Pastor Lynda Parson officiating. Burial will be held in the Kimball Cemetery with military graveside honors performed by Kimball VFW Post #2243. Viewing will be one hour prior to the funeral at the church. James Ernest Bohac was born in Schuyler, Nebraska on March 26, 1924, the son of James and Mary (Dohse) Bohac. He moved with his family to Kimball at an early age and attended and graduated from the Kimball High School. James enlisted and served his country in 1943 during WWII. He served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged on 1946. He was married to Marjorie Kretz in Kimball on 1948. He worked at the Kimball Power Plant and then during the oil boom he worked for Arapahoe Pipeline as a gager. He retired at the age of 62. James loved camping and hunting and fishing at Lake McConaughy. He took a trip to Czechoslovakia, a trip which he really enjoyed. He was a member of the Kimball VFW Post #2243 and the Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors include his daughter Becky Bowser of Crown Point, IN; brother Edward (Nancy) Bohac of Sterling, CO; sister Mariann Kleinholz of Carpenter, WY; grandchildren Daniel, Michael and Kimberly Bowser; sister-in-law Marilyn Booth; brother-in-law LaVane Ellsworth. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers John, Ernie and Chuck and a daughter Susan Bohac-Card. Cantrell Funeral Home
