Description	:	He was born to Louis Bolton and Clover Milton Bolton. He and his twin sister, who died shortly after birth were the oldest of the three children in the family. Jim graduated from Winner High School in 1943, and then entered the Army, spending the War years in Texas. He and his twin sister, who died shortly after birth were the oldest of the three children in the family. Jim graduated from Winner High School in 1943, and then entered the Army, spending the War years in Texas. He married Della Ann Frantz of Ideal, SD, in June of 1948., they had seven children together In the early year so their marriage the ran an Sweet Shop in Winner, later farming and Ranching in the Ideal, Murdo, and Presho before moving to Colome. Jim owned and operated, with the help of his sons, Bolton Ditching and Trenching. The family also ran a bluegrass lawn sod business, , and ran a dairy farm. Later in Jim's life he worked for the city of Colome as Utilities Manager. He is preceded in death by his twin sisters, Ruth and Ruby, his parents, Louie and Clover, his first wife, Della, and his sister-in-law, Phyllis Bolton. He married again in 1985 and had two children.
