Description	:	James immigrated in 1849. He married Bridget Carlin in 1853 in Chicago. They were the parents of 9 children in 1900, 5 still living: Matt, James, Anna, Kate, Elizabeth June 3 1901 - Carroll Sentinel - Slowly but steadily the ranks of Carroll county's pioneers are being lessened. Last Friday at high noon the death buguler sounded his trumpet and the soul of James responded to the call. Mr. Fitzsenry though being indisposed for some time past was not considered in a dangerous condition and but a few days previous to his death was down town attending to business matters and greeting friends. Being naturally of a robust nature he was at the very portal of death before he gave up life's struggle. Brights disease was the cause of death. Mr. Fitzsenry was native of Ireland, coming from county Wexford while yet a young man. He was in his seventy-first year at the time of his death. Together with his wife and children he moved to Wheatland township, this county, from Wisconsin in 1878, and continued a prosperous farmer until a few years ago when he moved to this city. His good wife whom he married in Chicago in 1854, journeyed with him through life and precedes him in death only since last October. Those of deceased's children who are here to attend the last sad rites of their beloved parents are: Mrs. Anna Dunlavy of Oconto, Wis.; Mrs. McGrane, living near Halbur; James, a resident of Crawford county; and Miss Lizzie, who lived with her father. James Fitzsenry, who resides at Tulleride, Colo., is expected here today, Arrangements for the funeral have been perfected and the services will take place tomorrow morning at SS. Peter and Paul's church.
