He was born February 17, 1921, in Morgan County, Missouri, a son of the late Joseph Talbort and Rachel Cramer Fisher. He was an over-the-road truck driver for many years. Uncle Jimmy was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Teamster Union in Kansas City, Missouri. He enjoyed fishing and driving to many vacation destinations. Uncle Jimmy was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Teamster Union in Kansas City, Missouri. He enjoyed fishing and driving to many vacation destinations. He is survived by his son, Tommy of Channelview, Texas; his daughter, Alice Faye Shrout of North Platte, Nebraska; several grandchildren; his brother, Jewell Dean Fisher of Lee's Summit, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles Fisher, Joseph Elwood Fisher, Earl Fisher, Howard Fisher, Vincel Fisher, Wanda Collett, Kenneth Fisher, and Milford Fisher. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, March 17, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Syracuse. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, Saturday, at the funeral home.
