Description	:	James Franklin Kelley, elderely Ottumwa resident died Tuesday at 10:15am at Jefferson Square Manor. He had lived at 511 Grant Street. He was the son of John and Mary Ann Kelley and was born near Selma. He was a coal miner in Ottumwa since a young man except for 12 years as yard man for St. Joseph Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Fay, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Balman of Houston, Texas and Mrs. Carolyn Sharpe of Lawton, Oklahoma; a son, James Wallace Kelley of Oregon; two brothers, Abraham Kelley of Arkansas and Arthur Kelley of Fairfield and five grandaughters. He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers, a son, Donald Kelley who died in 1961, and his first wife, Elizabeth Riggles Kelley who died in 1934. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:00am at the Traul Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Robert Palmer of the First Pentecostal Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
