Description	:	Mr. Pronger was born May 1, 1909, in Trenton, Neb., to George and Emma (Vollstedt) Pronger. He attended country schools until the eighth grade, including Pleasant Valley and Sunny Slope schools in the Proctor area. He started working at Tamarac Ranch when he was 14 as a cowboy. He married Elva Clevenger on Dec. 12, 1935, in Sterling. He married Mildred Dillahay on Nov. 10, 1984, in Fort Collins. Mr. Pronger was self-employed, working as a farmer, rancher and dairyman. He is survived by sister Bette McBride and husband John, of Iliff; grandchildren Linda Humphrey and husband Jesse, of Las Vegas, Debbie Hulcomb and husband Paul, of Fort Collins, Cindy Sullivan and husband John, of Berthoud, Dwaine Curtis and wife Barb, of Windsor, Steve Quigley, of Hugo, Clay Pronger, of Salt Lake City, Suzy Marostica and husband J.R., of Iliff, Jim Thompson and wife Lori, of Crook, Misty Thompson, of Aurora, and Yvonne Aric and husband Richard, of Dallas; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
