Description	:	James Fredrick Heston, 78, died at the Ottumwa Hospital Friday at 10:20p.m. He was born Dec. 18, 1897, in Jefferson County, the son of Charles and Sarah Amiss Heston. He had farmed in the Batavia community until moving to Agency in 1963. He was a member of the Fairfield Eagles Lodge. His marriage to Mabel Black was Dec. 24,1919. She survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Helen Shelangosld of Birmingham, Mrs. Lots Parker of Fairfield, Mrs. Mary Lou Moffitt of Blakesburg and Mrs. Carolyn Snyder of Fenton, Mich.; one son, Leonard Heston of Agency; 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren;... The funeral will be Monday at 3 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon, conducted by the Rev. Kermit Black. Burial will be in the Batavia Cemetery.
