Description	:	James G. Springer, 70, of 2634 Clearview, went home to be with the Lord at 11:50 p.m. March 23, 2008, at Hospice House. He was born Sept. 13, 1937 in Lenox, Iowa to Floyd P. and Helen Cook Springer. He married Emelie Swaim April 14, 1956 in Ottumwa. He was the project construction manager for many sites including the nuclear power plant in Byron, Ill. and most recently for the Ottumwa High School remodeling project. He married Emelie Swaim April 14, 1956 in Ottumwa. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, mushroom hunting, trapshooting, traveling and sightseeing. Surviving is his wife, Emelie; two daughters, Kelly Scaduto of Rockford, Ill. and Kerry (Phil) Rhymer of Roscoe, Ill.; a son, Troy (Peggy) Springer of Woodstock, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Grogan officiating.
