Description	:	James Rouse was born in Bosco Bel, Madison County Minnesota. At the age of four, moved with parents Charles and Lydia Rouse to Madison County Nebraska, near Meadow Grove, then two years later moved to homestead in the St Clair area south of Oakdale. Met and married Minnie M Wilkinson July 4, 1885. Lived on farm north of Neligh, then moved to Wisconsin where he was employed by George Graves, former Oakdale lumberman. Read More	James Rouse was born in Bosco Bel, Madison County Minnesota. At the age of four, moved with parents Charles and Lydia Rouse to Madison County Nebraska, near Meadow Grove, then two years later moved to homestead in the St Clair area south of Oakdale. Met and married Minnie M Wilkinson July 4, 1885. Lived on farm north of Neligh, then moved to Wisconsin where he was employed by George Graves, former Oakdale lumberman. Moved back to Oakdale Nebraska whereas was engaged in Well and Plumbing business. James and Minnie had thirteen children. Mr. Rouse was a kind husband, good father, true friend, always willing to give assistance to any in need. His work over the county will stand as a monument to his memory. He was a charter member of Oakdale Camp No. 3770 Modern Woodman of America, the emblem of which "For Sake of Another" was exemplified in his life. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church with Rev E. L. Bonch officiating and at the grave by Modern Woodmen of America by the Elgin Lodge. Interment was in the Oakdale Cemetery.
