Covert, died at his home in Spring township Wednesday, November 16 at 6 a.m., at the age of 65 years 2 months and 1 day. Mr. Covert was born in Clark county, Indiana in 1869. He was married to Miss Mary Logan who survives him October 18, 33 years ago. To this union five children were born, two daughters, Mrs. I. Marshall and Miss Edna and three sons, Elmer, Walter and Leslie Covert of Latham. Mr. Covert was a highly respected citizen and was loved by his many friends and will be greatly missed. The funeral will be held at the home Friday at 11 o'clock a.m., the interment will be in the West cemetery. His only brother Aleck Covert died 9 months ago, his two sisters, Mrs. Emmaline Freeman of Colwell and Mrs. Molly Cortner of Humboldt survive him.
