Littrell (sic), son of James and Margaret Littrell (sic), was born July 15, 1873, near Eddyville, Iowa, and passed away at the Imperial, Nebraska hospital on May 25, 1945, at the age of 71 years, 10 months and 10 days. When he was a small child his parents brought him to Nuckolls county (sic), Nebraska, where they took a homestead near Nelson, where he grew to manhood. In 1894, he was married to Mary Peters. Surviving are his wife, children: Ivan of Wauneta, Nebraska; Elmer of Colorado Cprings (sic), Colorado; May of Denver, Colorado; Grace Kennedy of Woodland, Washington; Howard of Arcata, California; Bernice Baugerman of Tacoma, Washington; and Willie of McPherson, Kansas; thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, one sister, Mrs. Mahala McPeak of Glendale, California; and two brothers, Robert M. Littrell (sic) of Edgar, and P.D. Littrell (sic) of Nelson, besides other relatives and a host of friends. The family lived on a farm near Oak, Nebraska, until 1926, when they moved to Chase county (sic), Nebraska. They lived in Wauneta, Nebraska, and vicinty (sic) since that time with the exception of three years during which time they lived in Fort Morgan, Colorado. The Johnston Mortuary of Wauneta handled by Leonard Hanson and Nelson Burham brougt the body from Wauneta accompanied by the family, Mrs. James Littrell (sic), Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Littrell (sic) of Wauneta, Elmer Littrell (sic) of Colorado Springs, May Littrell (sic) of Denver, Willis Littrell (sic) of McPherson, Kansas. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 29, 1945, at 2:00 p.m., at the Edgar Christian church (sic), conducted by Rev. C.M. Foust of Nelson, Nebraska. Music was furnished by Mrs. W.F. Hockman and Mrs. Walter Jacobsen, accompanied by Mrs. Roy Cline at the piano. Pallbearers were: Alfred Burres, Everett Kinnison, L.A. Grossman, Morg Grossman, Wm. Culbertson and Z.O. Elifritz.
