Description	:	Burnsville - James Herman Wilson, 76, of Upper White Oak Creek, died Friday, Feb. 6. 2004, in Spruce Pine Hospital. A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late Bascomb and Ethel Shuford Wilson. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Mable Fairchild and Ruth Loftis and a brother, Fred Wilson. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at White Oak Creek Church of which he was a charter member and deacon. The Revs. Glenn Burrell and Clifton McCurry will officiate.
