Description	:	James was the son of Casper Booher Linn and Elizabeth Jane Lauther Linn. He married Leah Catherine Byerley. They lived in western Iowa until James' death. They were the parents of four children. The location of James's grave was found recently, but he does not have a stone yet. Linn Died Dec. 27, 1893, James L Linn, aged 41 years, 4 months, and 21 days of Cerebral Apoplexy. Mr. Linn was lifting a stove Wednesday morning and all at once fell over in a faint. A doctor was called who said that a blood vessel had been burst in the head. He rallied some in the evening, but he grew worse and died Wednesday evening about 10:30 o'clock. Mr. Linn was a quiet man and was liked and respected by his neighbors. He leaves a wife and four small children to mourn his loss. The funeral services were held this morning in the M.E. Church conducted by Rev. Stevenson and the Sons of Veterans of which he was a member, had charge of the body at the grave. The widow and orphan children have the sympathy of all.
