Read More	Jim Lough March 14, 1951 - May 25, 2018 Obituary for Jim Lough James “Jim” Leroy Lough, 67, of rural Bloomfield, Iowa passed away on May 25, 2018 at the Ottumwa Hospice House. He was born March 14, 1951 in Bloomfield, Iowa to John and Lorraine Helmick Lough. He graduated from Davis County High School in 1969 and from Northeast Missouri State University in 1973. On July 28, 1973 he married Vicki Baughman in Bloomfield. Jim worked in the crop insurance industry, starting with American Agrisurance in 1987 as a crop adjuster then becoming a field representative. In 2003 he started his own company, Lough Crop Insurance Agency, and owned that until his retirement in 2017. While not working, Jim enjoyed being outdoors, camping, coyote hunting, and socializing with family and friends. He was especially proud of his five granddaughters. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Lough; two sons, Jason (Bridgette) Lough, Blake (Leslie) Lough both of Bloomfield; five granddaughters, Jalee, Jenna, and Jordan Lough, Briley and Brett Lough; brother, Ken (Maureen) Lough of Marion, Iowa; sister, Linda Prevo of Ottumwa; mother-in-law, Carolyn Baughman of West Des Moines; brother-in-law, Kyle (Gayla) Baughman of Cumming, Iowa; three sisters-in-law, Connie Baughman, Sandi (Denny) Pierce both of Mesa, Arizona, Robin (Alvin) Carver of Cortez, Colorado; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Lough; brother-in-law, Jack Prevo; and father-in-law, James L. Baughman. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Donna Olinger officiating. Cremation will follow the service with burial of the cremated remains at the IOOF Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday with the family present to greet friends from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to his family to be designated at a later date.
