Description	:	Mr. Davis served in the U.S. Army and was stationed at the 158th General Hospital in Salisbury, England. He dedicateD much of his time unselfishly to the VFW's Home for Children as well as the VFW National Home for children, Eaton Rapids, Mich. He was a member of the Ernie Pyle Chapter of the VFW in Wheaton and belonged to the Loyal Order of the Moose Post 1775. Mr. Davis devoted several years as a member of Joppa Lodge 35 in Washington, D.C. He also served as a noble shriner at the Almas Temple in Washington, D.C. and was president of the Davis reunion, where he held meetings at the Pleasant Grove Church in Ijamsville in tribute to the Davis clan. He participated in the Scottish right and was a 32nd degree in Washington.
