Description	:	Lincoln -- James M. Carey, 73, died Dec. 29, 1990 at a Millinocket hospital. He was born at Topsfield, Dec. 10, 1916, the son of James and Florence (Davis) Carey. He worked in the woods prior to his employment at Lincoln Pulp and Paper from which he retired in 1982 after 32 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Betty (Thornton) Carey of Lincoln; three sons and their wives, Brian and Linda Carey of East Millinocket, Scott and Rosemary Carey of Deltona, Fla. and Kevin and Debbie Carey of Winn; one daughter and her husband, Kelly and Donald Smith of Milford; one brother, Earl Carey of Gorham; three sisters, Bernice Trask and Mary Carey, both of Lincoln, and Geneva Talbot of Portland; eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at the Clay, Stevens & Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln, with the Rev. Jeffrey Moody officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Friends who wish may donate in his memory to the church of their choice or to the Ronald McDonald House. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
