Death claimed a well known resident of the county Tuesday evening when Mr. James Hutchison passed away at his home near Cincinnati. Mr. Hutchison while not in the best of health his sickness and death came as a great shock to his family and friends. Read More	Death of Mr. James Hutchison Another well known pioneer and old settler has passed away. Death claimed a well known resident of the county Tuesday evening when Mr. James Hutchison passed away at his home near Cincinnati. Mr. Hutchison while not in the best of health his sickness and death came as a great shock to his family and friends. He complained of a severe pain in his beard early Friday morning as his usual custom was to walk around. His wife found him stricken with a paralytic stroke, the next day a second stroke came and left him unconscious to the end. Became what a boy to Iowa with his parents where he had since lived. He enlisted in the Six Iowa Infantry in 1861 serving four years, three months and one day. Mr. James Hutchison united in marriage with Miss Marguerite McClure in 1864. To them were born three sons, William, who died in infancy; Jesse and Charles. His wife, son Charles, and grandson, Jesse, are left to mourn the loss of a devoted husband and father. Early in life he became a member of the Christian church and ever lead a consistent Christian life beloved by all who knew him. The funeral services were held from his home near Cincinnati, Wednesday afternoon, August 28, conducted by Rev. James A. Worrell, of the Methodist Church, assisted by members of the G.A.R. of which he was a member. Interment was in Westside cemetery of Cincinnati. James married Margaret McClure April 19, 1864 in Putnam, MO.
